Remembering Jason Zanon

With deep sadness and broken hearts, we are writing to inform you of the death of our colleague and dear friend Jason Zanon. He passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Thanksgiving, November 23rd 2023. 

Jason has been with Frakture since the company began eight years ago, and had worked closely with Chris Lundberg for many years prior at Salsa/Democracy In Action. We will remember him most for his understated brilliance, his extraordinary diligence, his endless patience, and his relentless humor and positivity. We already miss Jason more than any words can convey.

We’ll keep this post updated with any information from his family. Please keep them in your thoughts, and bear with us as we adjust operations in the wake of this tragedy.

UPDATE: Jason's family has shared this obituary, which includes information about attending his memorial either in-person or via Zoom. The in-home service will be at the Zanon home in Port Angeles, WA on Sunday December 3rd, from 1-5pm PST.

In lieu of flowers, Jason's wife Ksenia has requested donations in Jason's name to the Center for Civilians in Conflict, an organization providing humanitarian aid and support in Gaza.
